A sealed core

The core is fueled and sealed at our factory before it ever leaves the building. Nobody handles fuel in your yard — there's nothing to load, nothing to top off, and nothing to open. The cabinet that arrives is the same cabinet that leaves twelve years later, core and all, for exchange.

Passive by design

Cooling relies on convection, not pumps — warm air rises and draws cooler air in behind it, the same way a chimney works. There's no water loop to freeze, leak, or fail, and nothing that depends on outside power to keep working.

Contained, and watched

The core sits inside its own sealed containment vessel, inside the outer cabinet — two boundaries between it and the yard around it. Every Arbor reports its own vitals to our grower network continuously over cellular and mesh radio, and a technician walks the site once a season.

Sited with your neighborhood

Before we ever pour a pad, a site assessment specialist reviews your property, your setbacks, and your local ordinance — siting is subject to the same local approval a pool, a generator pad, or a propane tank would need. If a site doesn't clear that review, we don't install there.

Built for the weather you already have

The cabinet is rated from -40 °F to 120 °F and anchored to its pad against wind and settling. It's designed to sit through the same storms, freezes, and heat waves your house already does.

Safety, plainly

What happens if the grid goes down?

Nothing changes for you. The Arbor doesn't draw its supply from the grid, so an outage on your street doesn't affect your household — and depending on your interconnect setup, your surplus may be what's keeping your shared neighbors lit, too.

Can it leak, or catch fire?

There's no fuel to spill and no combustion involved — the core produces heat through a sealed fission process, not burning, and that heat is what generates your power. The containment vessel and outer cabinet are the two boundaries designed to keep the core isolated for its entire twelve-year service life.

What if I move, or sell my house?

The Arbor stays with the property, and the warranty transfers with it. We handle the account transfer with the new owner directly, the same way a solar lease or a propane contract would change hands.

What happens after 12 years?

We schedule a core exchange before the current one runs down. A crew lifts the spent core out whole, sets in a freshly sealed one, and you're back to full output — typically within a single day, much like the original install.

Who approves where an Arbor can go?

Your local jurisdiction does, alongside our own site assessment. We review setbacks, drainage, and access before we ever schedule an install, and we won't pour a pad on a site that hasn't cleared that review.

Does someone check on it?

Yes — continuously and in person. The unit reports remotely around the clock, and a technician visits your property once a season for a walk-around and a diagnostic read, whether or not anything's flagged.
